This month’s updates deepen the value Pylon delivers across the entire mortgage origination process.

Originators now have powerful tools to structure offers with flexibility and precision, expanded loan product coverage to serve borrowers across a wide range of financial profiles and situations, and clearer visibility into fees and disclosures to move with confidence.

Flexible loan structuring with concession management

Pylon now supports concession management across the API and Command Center, giving originators (and for the first time, brokers) powerful flexibility to structure borrower offers. Loan officers can apply, adjust, and remove concessions directly, with every change tracked in an audit log. Concessions that fall below configurable limits are automatically approved, streamlining the workflow and eliminating unnecessary reviews.

What it means for you:

  • Deliver competitive offers in any scenario
  • Adjust pricing strategies in real time
  • Streamline operations with audit trails and auto-approvals built in

New loan products: Jumbo ARMs, HomeReady, Home Possible

Pylon Capital now supports Jumbo ARMs via our Wall Street trading desk, along with Fannie Mae HomeReady and Freddie Mac Home Possible (available through multiple takeouts). This expands product coverage across borrower types, from first-time buyers with limited income and down payment savings to higher-net-worth borrowers purchasing in high-cost markets.

What it means for you:

  • Support across more borrower profiles
  • Flexible ARM options
  • Programmatic access to more institutional desks without the overhead

New Closing Costs view & fee editing in Command Center

Command Center now includes a detailed Closing Costs breakdown upon loan product selection, giving loan officers clear visibility into every fee and enabling more confident conversations with borrowers. Fees and credits can be edited directly, making it easy to tailor scenarios in real time based on borrower inputs, seller concessions, or known values like insurance and property taxes.

What it means for you:

  • Total fee transparency
  • More control and clarity across loan structuring
  • Smoother conversations with borrowers about upfront costs

API improvements

We’ve continued to enhance Pylon’s API to support richer loan structuring, smarter borrower data handling, and deeper visibility across the loan file.

Concessions can now be programmatically applied, adjusted, and approved via API, mirroring the functionality in Command Center and giving originators full flexibility to structure competitive offers at scale.

We’ve also introduced a range of updates to streamline pricing, enhance borrower data reliability, and improve flexibility around loan structuring. The API now allows teams to view all documents associated with a loan, supports structuring frozen loans prior to lock for a preliminary float-to-lock experience, improves handling of borrower income data across loan files, and removes the first-time homebuyer flag requirement from the refinance scenario pricer.
